Emirates Driving Institute

A Legacy of Excellence Since 1991

Established in 1991 and operating as part of the renowned Belhasa Group, Emirates Driving Institute has grown to become the largest and most established driving academy in Dubai and the wider Middle East.

With over three decades of experience, the institution has built a solid reputation for delivering structured, compliant training that meets the high standards required in the UAE.

Tailored Training Programs and Flexible Scheduling

Understanding that every learner has different needs, EDI offers a diverse range of courses designed to fit various lifestyles and availability.

The academy structures its practical training based on prior experience, ensuring a balanced approach to skill acquisition.

• Beginner Path: A comprehensive 20-hour program for students with no prior driving background.
• Accelerated Track: A streamlined 15-hour schedule for candidates with existing experience.
• Youth Driving Course: Designed specifically for university students to align with academic timetables.
• Platinum Driving Course: An advanced module allowing practice in luxury vehicles like BMW.

Additionally, trainees can select modern fleet options such as the Lexus IS300 or the Nissan Patrol with manual gear, ensuring versatility before hitting the road.

Seamless Registration and Highly Rated Instructors

A common highlight among student feedback is the professionalism and patience shown during the onboarding process.

Staff members, particularly noted personnel like Mazhar Hussain at the Hor Al Anz branch, consistently receive praise for making file opening straightforward and explaining every step clearly.

This dedicated approach extends to the instructional team as well, where trainees frequently acknowledge instructors for their cooperative teaching style, clear guidance, and strict yet supportive supervision on the road.

The customer service team is also recognized for maintaining a friendly atmosphere and ensuring that administrative queries are resolved efficiently.

Road Safety, CSR Initiatives, and Examination Readiness

Beyond passing exams, EDI places a strong emphasis on creating responsible drivers through a comprehensive corporate social responsibility program launched nearly ten years ago.

Students are encouraged to engage with certified channels for registrations and payments, ensuring transparency throughout their journey.

The academy also streamlines the final assessment phase by offering an Excellence Test package that combines parking and road evaluations into a single day at a fixed price, reducing stress and helping learners focus on demonstrating their skills confidently.

By combining structured learning, experienced instructors, and a firm commitment to road safety, Emirates Driving Institute continues to be a trusted choice for both new and experienced drivers seeking a reliable path to their license.
