Positive experience: Waited 5 months to give rewiev hoping they will improve the process yet no sign of improvement. Opened file for Motorcycle in June. File with RTA for motorcycle file and inside EDI for LMV, course material for LMV theory test for motorcycle but Alhamdulillah passed. After theory passing to get first class it took more than 3 weeks and after renewal of learning permit. Every time you need classes to be arranged you have to first make call to call center then they will raise case with scheduling and scheduling will take their own sweet time to call back or no call at all then when you call for follow up like today they say it will take 4 to 5 days for call back. The scheduling call should be automatic and student should recieve call from EDI and not the other way round and waiting and waiting. The only best thing for which I gave 3 star. Actually they deserve 5 star are the instructors. They work very hard to teach You the right way. For internal process of EDI , I dnt think its a good system at all. Purely waste of time and energy. ...A frustrated EDI student.

Negative experience: I had asked them for an NOC clearance on 5th December 2024 and till today 13th December, I have not yet received the certificate to join other institute. EDI team had promised, I would receive the certificate within 5 days. The customer centre keeps on raising concern but till now there is no solution.

Fantastic experience: The over all experience was nearly excellent! Even though, I had some issues during the booking process on their website at the start of my learning. The customer service call center team was able to resolve these issues as quick as possible. However, I would love to highlight and shoutout the instructors that really helped me greatly during my learning!! Positive experience: atmosphere is good but some people are rude in room 17, today an instructor came and asking to reception and he carrying a paper that was someone's, he was angry he was saying if this is happening with me then what will be with students, you are not giving me right way,

Positive experience: I really do not recommend for people to exam at the emirates driving institute due to them failing you sometimes on purpose. But, for first time learner it might be expensive but the teaching from the instructors is greatly beneficial and make you a natural driving in hectic or stressful situations.

Positive experience: A very good institute with bad customer service and administration. I had passed my final rta on 27.11.2024 but till now they are not issuing my license even though three messages were received from RTA that the driving license is ready for issuing... Upon visiting EDI three times they are saying that we will give you a message only after that you can come for a collection of your license which is really annoying and causing intentional delay. Hope the management will take care of the operations and assist customers to avoid intentional delays in classes, tests and final procedures

Negative experience: If there is choice of giving 0 star i will go for it. Waiting period is just beyond your patience. Had first class and instructor was so busy asking about my financial circumstances. Acted discriminated and highly rude throughout and keep on carrying same behaviour. Fined me for been few minutes late. No professionalism at all. All of there works like team and dont like to listen their own students those contributing in their economy and paying their hard earning. Instructor took me on main road on 2nd day driving class. Highly not recommend

Negative experience: The driving/testing instructors are rude, flirty and moody. They pass and fail students depending on their mood and preferences. They find ways to fail you and get agitated at your mistakes, which I strongly believe isn't the right mindset to have as an instructor. Also, every instructor has their own set of "rules" when teaching how to drive which doesn't comply with what the test instructors expect. Need to improve the kind of staff you employ.

Negative experience: Very bad experience i was having one class with new trainer his name is mohamed abdelaty and when they booked for me the appointment was 8;25 but i didn’t receive message and the one who booked for me he said come 8:30 and there is 15 minutes as per policy i can be late but i didn’t know that the class is 8:25 as i didn’t receive message as usual and i called the trainer he spoke in a very bad way i told him him just one minute i am in school then when i cane inside the car he took me absent!!! Then i told him why i am in car i told him i will check with then then he talk in a very bad way and unprofessional way to check with them i went there to the one who booked for me he said go for the manager his name is mohamed afifi and o asked him even if i was late the trainer didn’t tell me that ok to continue the class but he didn’t say that the manager said no he has to tell you that you can continue the class and he bring the supervisor for the trainers his name is imran and they booked for me another class in the same time and i promised that i will not pay anything for this class as it is not my fault !!the manager saying i didn’t promise and it is not my business i am not the one he is responsible! but i was promised that i will not pay and i can’t renew my file because of the due date!!

Fantastic experience: Joined at Hatta branch. The staff Arshad was very polite and gentle. He makes me understand the whole process when I went on the first day for file opening. He give a lot of confidence. And it was my first attempt cleared all the tests. Alhamdulillah. And the tutors and instructors were also good and skillfull. Especially I have 2 person in my mind Mr fahad arif. He was my smart yard test refreshment trainer. But he taught me better within that limited time. He is a good person. And the 2 nd person is Shameer Karappan veedu He is one of the good instructor i have met. He taught me many things during the classes. The final rta road test examiner was also a good and calm person. And It was a good experience overall EDI.

Positive experience: I recently completed my driving lessons and obtained my license through Emirates Driving Institute. As a complete beginner, I really appreciated the guidance and expertise of the instructors, who were incredibly patient and dedicated to making sure I understood every step of the learning process. While my overall experience was positive, it was difficult to get dates for the RTA Parking Test, which added some delays to the process. That aside, EDI’s instructors and training approach make it a great choice for new drivers. Thank you to the whole team!

Negative experience: Terrible First Experience at Emirates Driving Centre I had a horrible experience on my first day at Emirates Driving Centre. I was simply trying to find the pick-and-drop service, so I politely asked a staff member if he was the bus driver. Instead of a normal response, I was met with unnecessary yelling and rudeness. He became aggressive, asking, “Do I look like a driver to you?” and continued to shout about not being a driver, calling me “stupid” in the process. This kind of treatment is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I came here to learn driving, not to be insulted. This experience has left a bad impression, and I don’t feel comfortable returning. Customer service and respect need serious improvement at this centre. Note: he was Pakistani this happened front of parking of bus

Fantastic experience: It's not easy to get a driving license in Dubai but EDI will teach you how to face a though situation and how to handle it I was really scared to get license but when I open the license file in EDI the instructors was really good and I really love the way they share there experience with me and they teach me how to be a safe driver. After all the process I went through I failed three times than I meet with ITC officer Mr HASSAN sir he's such a kind , humble and polite person he arrange for me some training and help me so much he gives me some tips of driving than today I passed my test. I'm really thankful to Mr HASSAN sir hope I'm requesting to EDI to give him some award or appreciate him for doing such a excellent and great job. Positive experience: Overall I had mixed experience. Fantastic instructors and good transportation service. However the waiting period was too long between classes and tests. Customer service isn't really helpful in arranging classes faster. The process of obtaining a licence is long haul.

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with the service. The customer care staff, particularly some of the women, were rude. I would advise any parents with children to avoid this service. The class timings are set according to their convenience, and we are left stressed about how to manage our kids. I had a shocking experience today—when I tried to address the issue, everyone said they weren’t responsible. So, who is responsible? There’s no coordination between departments. Who compensates for our wasted time? They clearly don’t value their customers. If you’re looking for a smooth experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this service. I went for my class today at 8:30, but they unnecessarily changed it to 9:30. I had already paid for daycare from 8:30 to 9:30, and now I have to pay extra due to their class schedule change. When I tried speaking to the relevant department, no one was willing to listen, and I was passed around from one person to another. Who is responsible for managing our time? As a parent juggling both kids and work, I have to plan accordingly. Sudden changes like this make it impossible to manage. The staff are extremely irresponsible, and the lady at the daycare was also very rude. I experienced all of this in just one day!

Negative experience: Hi good day i just want to clarify that your school is to train before giving license it means you guys eat a lot of money before giving license even the student is good you always failed them until you eat all the money there no problem about that ,but insulting others with your rude attitude because of your low morals driving instructor ,please before you teach someone on how to drive make sure you have a good manners not to insult others , you are not the type of human that can insult others human,we pay nicely even a professional driver is hard to pass because you just want money money, i will ask my brother ,who this very rude instructor that saying to my brother he is no brain ,we all know that all of us here in middle east no perfect english but we all know that whose better nationality that can speak better english so don’t look to others that you are better specially if we are same same not born here don’t be smart than others do your job nicely as we pay nicely.

Negative experience: It does not deserve a minus star even I had to do a road test because my driving license was more than 10 years expired. I have been driving for more than 30 years in my country and yet they failed me. Once I got to the testing reception and the man knew I was renewing late he told me you will fail as if it was planned. Worst experience ever.

Positive experience: Lots of reviews were there about the long gap between the training period, According to my experience, if you do booking directly by go to schedule department, building no 2 .it is faster than booking over phone. Some of the instructors were really good and encouraging, but some of them are arrogant and shouting., I got survey sms after every training by asking the quality of training, trainer behavior...etc.i thought it is a good initiative by EDI. My Overall experience was good

Negative experience: Worst system for staff. Makes them work 18hr shifts from morning 6 till 2 at night 6days in a week and doesn’t pay overtime even for females. And if someone complains they fire them. Forcing staff to work illegal hours.

I wasted my classes and my money !!!! I would never recommend you guys to sign up with this institution, don’t repeat my mistake

She was experienced kind and patient with me throughout the whole process. she was very very motivating which helped me gain great confidence while driving. She was always on time and always aimed to give me feedback so i could always work on being better. Today I cleared my final RTA test, I meet my trainers today for the last time to say them Good bye and thanks . I will.miss them all. I would suggest some one who is willing to learn driving should join EDI .

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience which eventually led to acquiring my license on 1st attempt. The instructors that specifically helped me achieve this , are Lovepreet Singh and Mercy Mateo. Their passion and commitment in ensuring students get the best is truly unmatched. EDI staff as a whole truly understand the assignment , call centre crew, instructors , receptionists are all polite and helpful. Fantastic experience: Edi is the best driving and affordable institute I've known .I registered as unlimited packages and they will teach you until you know how to drive .I've never drove before but when I joined EDI I used to fail the test and they never get tired of me .I will recommend anyone that this institute is the best in UAE They even called me for refresh class before doing RTA test.Majority of the staff are good .I've been having a male instructor MR Majid and Mr Zulqarbain Qadeer.The best instructors I've seen so far .Live long EDI.

Positive experience: Overall good experience..... Instructors are experienced. One area need improvment which is the behavior of course coordinators in ladies section they should know how to treat people sometimes they are very rude.

Positive experience: I just Passed my final road test, I suggest you go for the good instructor, once u get the best instructor you can pass the test in first attempt easily, I highly recommend (Sir Haji Muhammad) he is strict but best, he will teach you from zero to final in like 3 to 4.days of classes.

Fantastic experience: I started my class today and I was nerves coz of first day but my instructor shahab khan was very good nice person he given me build up my confidence and the way he tech I like he is so polite kind nice and good person I recommend him to new students and soon I will become a good driver and soon will take my license. Negative experience: Dear Sir, I had the worst experience with the Emirates Driving Center. They are having so many problems getting to the class before the test. Class time is more than 3 weeks if we need to book, within 6 months rta file will expire. Huge charges and bad techniques they use to get more client funds. Customer care center is not replying and lack of support always takes place. Extremely bad service for a needful client and always makes an argument on call. Fluctuation of charges is always a big headache in my life. We come from a middle-class family but they don't have time to listen to our problems and clear them on time. I want to submit a refund request or waive my charges because I am wasting a long time with the Emirates Driving center. Will want your feedback as soon as possible. Negative experience: It's difficult to get slots for driving and you won't get you driving class booked and for every booking you need to wait for 2 week and when u call customer care there won't help you with proper response and minimum waite time to get customer care is 20 to 30 min and they won't help you in any way and they will say will call back and keep the call. Please be ready to wait for 6 months or more to get your driving licence. Even time u need to wait for 2 weeks and u will forget what u have learnt before u go for next driving class. Today I waited for 45 min to speak to customer care to do my booking and no responses from the team for my booking request sent given on Monday 2nd sep 24

Fantastic experience: Am excited to write my review, having done the full classes, Test and got the license in less than 3 months. EDI experienced instructors was the best all through my training, from Instructor Mr. Rizwan Ashraf, Mr. Muhammad Arshad, Ms. Samah Mahmoud and the last but not the least Mr. Mohamed Gomaa my last instructor for highway & Indipendent Training you all made my final RTA road test look like a routine perfect class. Passed all my tests in one shot.
