Negative experience: So far very bad experience with emirates driving institute.i am getting license of category No.4 and their waiting time for next class is never ending, 20 to 30 days waiting time becoz of limited heavy trucks.since their schedule is very busy and i am getting late classes,i will have to pay fee for driving permit renewal now for the second time.i dont think this is fair and emirates driving institute should think about it seriously if they care even little about their students and increase the number of trucks as they have alot of students now and only 4 to 5 trucks.those who opened files for cars with me have already got license even though they failed many times the school assesment tests but i am still stuck just becoz of emirates driving institute does not want to spend money and keep opening files for new students whereas they should clearly take into consideration the amount of time they are wasting of old students.they really need to spend more money on buying new trucks.for now i will never recommend this school to anyone and lets see if they ever improved,i will definitely give my review again.

Negative experience: There is a lot of discrimination in this school. The system of this school is not good. When they have so much waiting then why are they giving admission to new people. I made full payment at once but now they are not giving me class. And they don't even have the manners to talk to their staff. Everyone thinks of themselves as president. Useless school, waste of both time and money.

Fantastic experience: I was with EDI since end of 2019 & since a lot happened with the Pandemic, I was able to continue only this year. I would say that they have improved so much. Have re-enrolled by mid October and got my license yesterday with one take of the RTA road test Thank you so much to Mr Nasir, he recommended the best instructors that are available and have been in EDI more than 10years. Props to Marissa, Myrna and the rest of the team :) THANK YOU EDI!

Fantastic experience: I reached at center at 4.59pm on Saturday. Office hours were almost finished but Mr. Islam waited for me and explained me all the details very nicely and helped me for registration. I really appreciate his efforts, he is one of the best employee in EDI. Easy payment process and work flow. Overall experience is excellent. Thank you again Mr. Islam.

Negative experience: Iam writing to express my dissatisfaction with service i received regarding my cancellation request for the class which is on 15/12/2024, due to emergency trip, i spoke to cordinator RAHUL and requested the same , but encountered an unprofessional, unhelpful and rude attitude. I found that EDI has consistently failed to be cooperative in situations like this and iam extremely disappointed with the lack of support. RAHUL's behaviour in particular was unacceptable and only added to the frustration.

Negative experience: Well i had a bad experience with EDI. Their trainers can be the best drivers but most of them are not good teachers. They dont know care of decipline, they are not qualified teachers, they act like "thanedar" while they should have like a teacher. They always try to put students in presure, and in the result students start making mistake in panic. They dont motivate but at the same time they use to say " you will not get passed, u are so weak, why you choose routine class, why u didnt go for unlimited package. On small mistake they behave like child with saying " ok drive by yourself now I am not gona interfare. They use delay tactics, in two hour class they always waste 30 minutes in taking food during class, asking to bring tea and other refreshments... just rediculous... School should maintain a check and balance on their trainers.

Fantastic experience: I was able to pass the whole process from start to the end in 2.5 months and that too because of the wait that was mandatory from RTA’s side. EDI is truly dedicated to helping its students pass as soon as possible and teach them the proper techniques. Special thanks to Rahman for all his help, he was truly the best support during this entire process. Also to my main instructor Naeem who really helped me with all the tips and tricks to manage the journey.

Negative experience: Very bad experience waiting for calss more time if you call customer care tjey said wait we will chek 4 days gone i want to book parking class after that again i call again wait 2 days westing time even driving instructor behavior is not good rudely talking why i pay full amount i want learn

Positive experience: Trainers are good. But they have inefficiencies in the processes. Which can cause delays. Aisha Rafi was my instructor/trainer. She is excellent. Always on time and always on point. She covered all the nitty-gritties of the driving and things to keep in mind while driving and during RTA test. Thanks to her I was able to clear the exam in first attempt. I would also like to mention Mr. Navid. He is amazing coordinator. He is always there in case you need any help. You can always approach him for help. Helps with a smiling face.

Fantastic experience: EDI is the best institute in Dubai/UAE/The world! I highly recommend it to everyone! I learned driving here from scratch and the entire experience was stellar. I had the Platinum package which I also highly recommend! Big thank you to Mr Aamir who was my instructor (best one!) and Mr Sajjad.

Negative experience: Worst services, once you paid full money you are stuck. Strongly not recommended driving school. Your turn for all kinds of tests will come after long wait, you must be renewing your learning permit more than 3 times so they can suck more money from you. If you enrolled here you are gonna stuck for a year to get license. You don't get any help from any department. Call centre behaviour is very unprofessional.

Positive experience: The whole experience was wholesome.. from the theory training to the physical training. My first trainer was Mr. Gadafi who helped me face my fear of driving. To my favorite EDI assessor Ms. Saba. The bus was always on time. Classes started on time and all staffs were helpful all around. I am very grateful to everyone i was able to interact with, those that helped me maneuver through the process. It was incredibly experience.

Negative experience: Please update your website timing as people have to take time off work to come. Your website shows closes at 1, I came before 12:45 and the person who helped who was not helpful or friendly said no sorry they went 12:30 on break and back at 2:30 your website shows 2pm. Please make these changes so people can plan their time accordingly. I will wait now 1.5 hours to just make 1 payment which I can't do online.

Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed Ali my instructor, I wanted to commend you on your teaching style. Your patience and willingness to answer questions were instrumental in helping me feel more confident behind the wheel. You provided constructive feedback that encouraged me to improve my driving skills without feeling overwhelmed or discouraged. This positive reinforcement made a significant difference in my learning experience. However, I did encounter a few challenges un during the class regarding scheduling flexibility. There were times when the available slots did not align well with my availability, which occasionally made it difficult to maintain a consistent practice schedule.but with the help of Mr. Leo, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your assistance in booking my class. Your support and guidance made the process so much easier for me, and I truly appreciate your efforts. In conclusion, I genuinely appreciate the effort and dedication you put into teaching. I passed my final road test in my second attempt.

Office Manager "Sadia" and Trainer "Sami Ullah" were excellent; Sami is an excellent trainer with good pateince. Pick-up & drops were always on schedule. Highly recommnded.

Positive experience: The program was good if a little pricey but the instructors especially Mr. Mamdouh Gebril was excellent and knowledgeable. Positive experience: It’s not that bad to be honest i got my license in like 3 months and a half, they’re really money hungry though. My instructor throughout all of my classes was Mr. Banaras, would definitely recommend going with him he really wants you to pass.

Fantastic experience: Smooth registration process in Mall of Emirates, took less than 5 minutes. Mr. Khosru Ishaque was very professional and fast, guided me through the whole process and also helped me in choosing the best driving course based on my work schedule. Negative experience: The refresher class before rta yard test that edi gives for free, just because its free doesnt mean they should not adhere to the timelines they committed for the class. We were given a time of 430pm and thr class started exactph 530pm. I hope everyone understands this basiv thing that time is valuable and in this case i had to take half day from my office and leave our 5 year old daughter with a neighbour. Really disappointed specially when edi is holding a reputation in dubai. And just fyi this free class is no favor to us because we have unlimited attempt package!!!!

Negative experience: Administration is very poor and very slow. I wouldnt recommend this institute

Negative experience: They charge more than 17000 aed for VIP package, but won't give you any flexibility or service. Their relationship manager Sajjad is extremely rude and they make rules as per his own whims. Also try asking for a car change or instructor change, you ll find traveling to Mars is easier. Only one word.. AVOID.

Negative experience: Poor experience with EDI overall, instructor was good but getting a driving licence seems to have become a big business in Dubai where even experienced drivers are being failed multiple times. Booking and paying for a specific number of classes after every failed attempt is just ridiculous. Avoid if possible.

Fantastic experience: EDI has a driver refresher training for drivers from other countries. Driving in Dubai isn't same as driving in UK. So, it is very beneficial to have this training. So far, great experience with EDI !

Positive experience: starting everything is fine when i was get admission. But when i was finished online lecture class. i was went for mock test first lesson i was failed. then they told me to start training for 3 days then later again i have to go for mock test. that's fine also. i seen who is teach there in the room who take also mock test they just support fheir nationality people that's not good man. damn it. we are all student paying money we have same priority. kindly please take care all of student and give them same prority.

Fantastic experience: Platinum course is well planned. You can get your license in 10-15 days. RTA final test pass percentage is very high for platinum candidates. Fees is slightly on the higher side, but u will save a lot of time and energy.

Did eye test on friday, they made customers come in Al quoz branch even when their system was not working.. staff said that eye test can be done and can just be uploaded now they’re saying that need to come back to do the eye test.. worst service ever for customers who live far

Positive experience: Just passed my final driving test today, and got my driver's licence. EDI driving instructors have given me great knowledge of the different situations of the road, and have also helped me to develop ways to tackle roads situations effectively. I'm very thankful to my instructors for their in-depth guidance of safety rules and car maneuver techniques. It was not exactly a smooth journey for..... I've done many attempts of the initial road assessment, parking test, and final test as well....but with each failure, I was given the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and correct them The final driving examiners can be pretty cold (sometimes rude) but they do their duty very well by making sure that we follow the proper rules, and do not stop the flow of traffic One way to pass this test (which an instructor told me) is to drive in a way where the passengers feel safe. That way, we'll be more patient, and can assess the road situation better Thank you EDI and RTA for this. I'm soooo happy that I've finally gotten my licence.

Fantastic experience: Staff are professional and friendly at the same time. All the instructor I got were good and knowledgeable. I didn't have much waiting period for assessments, parking test or road test. And the training booking also was a easy process. Got my license in first go itself. They gave a extra practice session before the main RTA test. Which was really helpful as the lessons and tips will be fresh in yoir mind before you attempt the test. Even the parking test too, I was able to get all parking in first go except the emergency break, which was entirely my fault.(I was bit nervous as it was the first maneuver, got theough it the second time). For parking RTA test also they gave proper training explaining the points where to stop, when to turn, what point to refer when you stopinside the parking etc which was really helpful. Their parking tutorial video on youtube is lso very usefull.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) to everyone! In my experience, it is the best driving school. The staff and trainers are incredibly helpful and supportive. I received my training from Prabhakara Rao Sir, and he is truly the best trainer. He teaches every detail and provides tips to make learning to drive easy. His explanations are clear and helpful. To those who say it takes months or years to get a license, I would say it depends on the individual, not the school. I passed my theory test on 7th April and I got my license today 1st July. Despite facing obstacles like rain, Eid holidays, and slot availability, I got my license in less than three months and in 1st attempt. All credit goes to my trainer, Prabhakara Rao Sir. If you plan to get your UAE license, go to EDI Al Quoz branch and ask for Prabhakara Rao as your trainer. Thank you, EDI!

Negative experience: Horrible experience, they would find a reason to make you fail to repeat the exam & pay for more classes & exams. It used to be the best school but it's not the same now unfortunately :(

Negative experience: I have a good instructor however everything else is awful. They just want to steal your money and are very not flexible. I don’t recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: I called for a motorcycle driving license and then had to go to the office, this is what I was told: - I can take only 3h per week with the normal package - driving lessons 2 weeks after theory exam - in total it will take me 3 months to finish - pressured to take the super expensive package Then called galadari: - cheaper package - I can take 2h per day 7 days a week - registration can be done without going to office - I can start driving classes straight away after the theory exam - everything can be completed in 2 weeks max EDI is DELUSIONAL !!!!

Negative experience: So, I decided to take my driving classes with EDI, because they were supposed to have good reputation, however, this wasn’t the case. I opened my file on Saturday April 27, and passed my theory exam on Sunday May 4. They said someone will call me within two days to schedule the practical training, after the theory test was done. Obviously, no one called, I have been calling them daily to follow up on when to start my practical, with no hope. They keep putting me off and say someone will call me later… and that never happens. Totally disappointing!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Umar Awais helped us with the registeration process, and explained the road map pn how to go through it. He helped us before in the rolla branch and now working in deira city center branch.

Negative experience: The last time I gave my final road test. The examiner was extremely rude and sort of manhandled while I was driving. I guess the examiners are suppose to observe and then give feedback, but this examiner just snatched the steering wheel forcefully twice and was really rude and aggressive with me. If I am an Indian doesn’t mean you will treat me like a labour. He could’ve shared his observations with me, but instead he decided to be extremely harsh and aggressive with me. The examiners are supposed to intervene only when they feel that the car is unsafely driven by the student. This man just snatched the steering wheel and just did a simple turn to left himself when I was simply waiting for the truck to pass me. He just wanted to get over the test as soon as possible. If you are going to appoint racist examiners then I would definitely love to switch my school. I don’t want to be treated so bad just because you think every southern asian man in Dubai is sweeping floors and is uneducated. The guy who was with me, he was probably a European. He was being treated really well and even if he was slow and driving extremely cautious. Nobody said anything to him. Fail me for valid reasons. Fail me for my mistakes, but don’t appoint such examiners who will take control of the car simple because I am making a safe left turn!!!!! The car wasn’t even in danger!!!! Pathetic and racist people..

Positive experience: Today i Got my cleared and RTA final raod test and Got my license. Honestly i never thought what it cost to be good driver. I am grateful to my Instructor Ms. Kausar and Ms. Saba they were excellent gave minute of insights and after all i am happy and getting to roll on roads with flying colours . EDI Al Qouz branch is really good. Infact entire process is good only u need to be patient as you are in one the best driving Institute. Fantastic experience: I just passed RTA road test from the first time with EDI, they are the best. I had the best experience, my training classes with the hard worker Ms, Marwa saad she is super talented and dedicated although I had night classes which means the roads are quite empty with no hazardous situations she didn’t skip a minute without creating a scene I can face on the road and giving instructions on how to deal with it , I really appreciate her instructions which helped me a lot to pass both the EDI road test& RTA road test from the first attempt , really recommended The only issue I faced during my journey with EDI was the training booking centre as you can’t call them directly & if you missed a call from them you will need to call the call centre again to reach them and they don’t call you back fastly everytime it may take several days of wait again which was annoying but I had this issue with one or two classes only which compared to the whole journey was acceptable

Fantastic experience: This driving center is very good,only problem is a little bit delay in getting classes if you fail but teachers are very efficient especially Mr.Zohaib.Am very thankful Mr.Zohaib guidance which helped me in clearing RTA exam.I got my license in January 2024 & still I remember his tips while driving in the road even now.if you are somebody looking to join EID, I would 100% recommend him as a tutor.He give me such a confidence for driving. Fantastic experience: Emirates Driving Institute - No 1 driving school I recommend. These guys honestly train you at the utmost standards. I should add that i passed both my RTA Parking and RTA final road test on my first attempt (Automatic Transmission). I have never driven a vehicle in my life. The instructions given to me by Mr Hakkim Murikkinkattil were to the point and He made sure I learn everything from Scratch. He was very detailed with his teaching and definitely knows so much. Special thanks to Ms. Aisha Rafi too for being so helpful with my parking also, she made sure i learn exactly what i was weak at and was the nicest. And i cannot forget the experience i had driving with Mr Muhammad Aamir during independent driving, he helped boost my confidence and my comfort level before my final test. Thank you EDI for a great experience overall.

Fantastic experience: I was having difficulty at first with RTA accepting my application, but EDI was so great in helping me find solutions and staying resilient on obtaining the approval! Positive experience: I finally got the license in Jan after ten months from the start of this journey. Thanks to my initial instructor Mr. Manoj and then many more instructors ( new every time) because of whom I can drive in Dubai today . Initially I enrolled in Ibn Battuta branch with unlimited package.The theory exam was quick , but first training class was after one month . The scheduled initial fixed classes were on time and then initial assessment test if failed the next class was scheduled very late and that very frustrating. Finally after that are the parking classes which were in evening at peak traffic times and difficult for ladies ( as kids back from school). Then had to shift to Al Quoz main branch for morning classes but test is still in evening time only. After that are the highway & solo training class was smooth . Finally the road test if failed the next class scheduled immediately which was good . Overall a long journey but finally got the license . If they schedule the classes quickly after failing the initial assessment test or parking test , then this time can be reduced and less frustrating.

Positive experience: I recently completed my driving lessons with Emirates Driving School, and I couldn't be happier as I got the license in the first attempt. From start to finish, the process was smooth. My instructor, Mrs. Sherena Nazeer, played an invaluable role in my license process. She provided clear instructions and guidance at each and every step of the way, promoting confidence in my driving abilities. Without her support, I don't think I would have been able to pass the test as quickly as I did. Thanks to the school and instructors, I feel well-prepared and confident behind the wheel.

Negative experience: Folks unless you have no other option, I would not recommend EDI. There is minimum 10 days of wait and you will never get your licence. We keep waiting while they earn by renewing our expiring learner's permit. My Reg ID is 23343023 and nothing regarding the wait and so much of delay was conveyed to me at the time of joining. Please don't fall trap unless you are okay to waste your time and money.

Fantastic experience: I opted for the Gold package at EDI & had the best experience. My Instructor Mr. Zafar Ali was excellent and I would highly suggest him.
